Our artists have varying rates. An estimate of the approximate time required and cost for your tattoo will be discussed during your consultation.
Pain varies from person to person and depends on placement, size, and your own pain tolerance. Your artist will talk you through what to expect during your consultation.
We accept cash, credit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit, and e-transfer. We do not accept tap payments.
We do not offer gift cards, but we do accept prepaid credit cards as a form of payment.
Yes, a $100.00 + HST ($113.00) non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee is required. It’s deducted from the final price of your tattoo once completed, or once there are no remaining appointments.
Your booking fee is valid for one year from the date of payment if no appointment has been scheduled. Once an appointment is booked within that year, the fee no longer expires.
Larger pieces are often completed over multiple sessions. Your booking fee covers the first appointment; session dates, pricing, and any additional fees will be confirmed during your consultation.
Bring any photos, references, and ideas you may have gathered. We only ask that you be open to interpretation and the opinion of our artists. Have an idea, but leave the composition to the artist you’ve chosen to do your tattoo.
Some of our artists take on cover-ups, but it depends on the existing tattoo — in some cases we may require laser lightening before we can cover it. Please fill out our booking form at

Please email any new photos, references, or ideas you’d like your artist to see while they put the artwork together.
Your artist will have the artwork ready on the day of your appointment. All artwork is done digitally, so any changes can be made together on their iPad on the day of the appointment.
You’ll be contacted via email the week before your appointment to confirm. Once you receive the confirmation email, please reply to let us know you can make the appointment. Please add info@closedcasket.ca to your contacts so the email doesn’t get missed.
If you have a new tattoo idea that differs from the original, your artist must agree to it. A new consultation will be scheduled, or your appointment(s) may be cancelled, and you will forfeit your booking fee.
We require 3 (three) business days’ notice (Tuesday to Saturday) to reschedule your appointment. If less than 3 business days’ notice is given, you forfeit your booking fee, and a new, possibly larger, booking fee will be required to keep any remaining appointments.
If you cancel or reschedule 2 or more appointments, Closed Casket Custom Tattoos reserves the right to cancel any remaining appointments you have booked. You will forfeit your booking fee, and a new, possibly larger, booking fee will be required to keep any remaining appointments.
Please let us know in advance if you are pregnant, currently taking blood thinners, have any allergies, or have a recent sunburn or skin condition in the area to be tattooed. These may affect whether we’re able to tattoo you as scheduled.
Please do not apply numbing cream before your appointment. If numbing cream has been applied, your artist may not be able to tattoo you, and you will forfeit your booking fee.
No, we do not tattoo clients under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. Our studio is 18 and over. We may require government-issued ID on the day of your appointment.
We offer one complimentary touch-up on all tattoos, valid within 6 months of the completion date. If a second touch-up is needed, or more than 6 months have passed, charges are at the studio’s discretion.

Our parking lot is quite small with limited space. If the lot is full, you can also park on the south side of the driveway — please leave enough space for others to drive by safely. If you’re unsure where to park, come in and speak with reception.
